La Serpiente Emplumda comes in a regular bottle with a fine, colourful label depicting the serpent god, “Quetzalcoatl” of the aztecs in Mesoamerica. Quetzalcoatl was a god of wisdom and winds, and the mythic background provides a good story to tell the customers for this nice product.

Tasting Notes

Woody and smooth, this liquor which holds the good qualities of an anejo tequila. It has notes of butterscotch, honey, vanilla, a bit of smoke and a very nice and oakey flavour. The aroma is rich with walnuts, honey and baked agave.

La Serpiente Emplumada Anejo is a premium tequila with with a great, easy and light flavour of butterscotch and oak. It does not have a heavy sweetness as does some anejos. It does have sweetness, but it is light and well paired with the notes of walnuts and honey. An excellent sipping tequila, for tequila afficionados.
